Pics of our travel

Reached there around 11 in the afternoon. The cottage was too good. Most peaceful place anyone can find. My camera crashed as soon as we reached there, thanks to my mischievous son. These pics are from the camera from my phone. Actually the phone was less of a phone and more of a camera over there. Best possible thing is there is the least possible mobile network. Our car got an axle problem, but it was least of my concern. I was happy with my book and coffee on the swing. At night it was the most beautiful sight. The villagers were torching the dry grasses on the mountains. It looked like a serpent of fire waving slow in the wind.

On our way to Girivan

This was the last pic that I could upload on our trip to Girivan. Hubby and son are enjoying a cup of steaming hot cup of masala tea at a road side tapri (shack). I had cold drinks.

Looking forward for a grate weekend outing

This week we are planning to visit a nearby hill station. Name of the place is Girivan. It is around 40 kms from Pune. We booked the cottage called chitrakuti. It will be quite a peaceful holi for my son. No colors or water. I also wanted to lay back a little. The hectic schedule of my IT job is getting on my nerves. Lets hope it's as is shown on their website. Taking Classic Satyajit Ray and lots of coffee to enjoy peacefully with me.

Paper Space Shuttle

This is a toy I downloaded from www.papertoys.com/shuttle.htm . Wanted to do something out of the task that I was doing. Just cut out the various pieces and turn and fold. Some of the pieces require soft turns. For that use the corner of the table to do so. This took around half hour to complete.

Greeting card with a difference

Made these this Christmas. Wanted to make something new with the pop card method, but with a twist. These can be a great decoration for office desks and fireplace mantels. Jessyratfink said "The handwriting gives it lots of character".
